~be responsible and finish our work on time,
~help others in need and always do the right thing,
~be respectful role models to all Las Brisas Stars!

Letter from George Washington
I received this email after we attended the Liberty Festival Field trip.
I am so proud of our 5th graders
To whom it may concern at DVUSD:
This past week we had
the pleasure of enjoying the participation of three DVUSD schools in our
Liberty Festival, an American Revolution Field Trip.
The schools were
Mountain Shadows, Sunset Ridge and Las Brisas.
Over the years we have worked
with hundreds of schools in different parts of the country but our team all
agreed that the DVUSD schools were one of our best experiences. All three
schools were exceptional in their preparation and the interest level of their
students. But we feel we should give special kudos to Las Brisas. The Las
Brisas students were a cut above not only in interest and enthusiasm but in
respect and good manners too.
Well done DVUSD! We hope to see you again.
